On October 7, 1999, the United States Mint welcomed the Connecticut state quarter into existence. The ceremony, held at the United States Mint in Philadelphia, marked the release of the fifth and final state's quarter to be celebrated as a part of the 50 State Quarters® Program in 1999. Teachers, below you will find several activities and links that will bring the excitement of Connecticut's "State Quarter Day" into your classroom.
