Welcome to the
United States Mint Tour Reservation System.
Before you begin making your tour reservation, please note the following:
Reservations are required for all tours of the United States Mint at Denver.
Reservations can be scheduled through this website.
A limited number of stand by tickets are available for those without reservations. Standby tickets are available daily on a first-come, first-served basis. They are based on no-shows and do not guarantee a tour. There may be days when standby tickets are not available.
Standby tickets can be picked up beginning at 7:30 a.m. at the Mint's information booth which is located on Cherokee Street between 14 Avenue and Colfax Avenue in Denver, Colorado.
All United States Mint tours are free of charge.
Guided tours start on the hour and are available from 8:00 a.m.
to 2:00 p.m.
Monday through Friday (excluding federal holidays).
We encourage you to submit your request as early as possible since a limited number of tours are available.

Tour reservations for individuals or small groups of up to 20 people can be scheduled through our
web-based tour reservation system.
Reservations are accepted up to two months in advance.

We welcome large group tours for students, youth groups, seniors, military, veterans and other organizations, (20-50 people).
Available spaces for large groups are based on the same online schedule/spaces available to individuals and small groups.
Large group tours may be arranged by calling the Office of Public Affairs at the United States Mint, Denver, (303)405-4759.
Group tours must be scheduled at least two weeks before the tour date requested.
To schedule tours for the busy spring and summer months, we recommend calling at least 6-8 weeks in advance.
The maximum number of visitors in any tour is 50 people.
You must be at the tour entrance no later than
15 minutes before your tour time.
Late arrivals will not be admitted.
Tour policies are subject to change without notification.
If the Department of Homeland Security level is elevated to CODE ORANGE, the United States Mint at Denver will be CLOSED to the public unless otherwise noted.
The United States Mint reserves the right to deny access to anyone at any time; in addition, members of the public wishing to tour the facility may be subject to search by the United States Mint Police.
All visitors are required to enter through a metal detector.
The United States Mint is a secured facility.
All visitors, including children, are subject to a security screening before entering the building.
Photography, smoking, eating and drinking are not allowed in the building.
In addition, the United States Mint prohibits the carrying of certain items into the facility.
Prohibited items include, but are not limited to, the following:

Purses, Handbags

Fanny packs, diaper bags, book bags, backpacks

Packages of any type

Strollers

Food or beverages of any kind

Tobacco products

Personal grooming items (makeup, hair brush or comb, lip or hand lotions, etc.)

Any pointed objects (pens, knitting needles, umbrellas, etc.)

Guns, or ammunition

Fireworks

Electric stun guns

Martial arts weapons/devices
-
Knives of any size

You may bring a palm sized wallet/change purse (about the size of a man's folded wallet) that can fit in your pocket, to hold money, identification, credit cards etc.
No checkbook, organizers/day timers, or larger wallets will be allowed in the building.
The United States Mint at Denver does NOT provide storage for any items.
All necessary medications must be identified, and will remain in the custody of an adult chaperone for the entire tour.
The United States Mint at Denver is wheelchair accessible.
Sign language interpreters are available by special arrangement.

Located directly adjacent to the visitor's entrance, the gift shop has United States Mint coin sets, commemorative coins, numismatic collectables, books, games, and United States Mint souvenirs.
You are welcome to visit the gift shop after your tour.

The United States Mint at Denver does not provide parking.
Public lots and meters are available in the area.
The United States Mint at Denver is at 320 West Colfax Avenue.
Going either north or south on I-25, take the Colfax Avenue exit and go east on West Colfax, away from the mountains, you should see the gold dome of the State Capitol to the east.
The United States Mint is 1.5 miles east on the right hand side of the street between Delaware and Cherokee Streets.
Due to ongoing construction in the area, allow extra time to find parking.
