Artistic Infusion Program

The United States Mint's Artistic Infusion Program provides the Nation's artists the opportunity to create beautiful designs for coins that will be enjoyed by all Americans. Since its establishment, the AIP has evolved to include a refined pool of talented American artists representing diverse backgrounds and a variety of interests. AIP artists have submitted successful designs for coins released through the 50 State Quarters® Program, the Presidential $1 Coin Program and the corresponding First Spouse Gold Coins, as well as several commemorative coins. All selected designs are modeled by United States Mint Sculptor-Engravers, who also submit designs for coin and medal programs.
