Maureen Drdak graduated with a BFA from the University of the Arts (formerly the Philadelphia College of Art) and from the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts, from which she received a Certificate in Painting. She is a practicing fine artist and designer, exhibiting and lecturing frequently on her work in universities, colleges, and museums. Her client list includes, among others, Tiffany, Lenox, and Waterford-Wedgewood. She was previously a Master Designer for the Franklin Mint, where she designed products under license for Fabergé, Perrier-Jouet, and many other brands. The recipient of numerous awards, she is represented in many private, public and museum collections in the U.S. and abroad, including the collections of the Emir and Sheikha Mozah of Qatar, Lynda and Stuart Resnick, Donald and Shelley Rubin, and John and Berthe Ford. Ms. Drdak is also a recent Fulbright Fellow in Art. Her 2011-2012 Fulbright work in Nepal established the first material synthesis of repoussé, a type of low-relief metalwork, and contemporary painting, for which she studied with repoussé Master Rabindra Shakya.
