Obverse Description:
Released on May 28, 1993, this coin was authorized in commemoration of the 50th anniversary of the United States' involvement in World War II. The design of the coin features an American serviceman with rifle raised celebrating victory. The coin is inscribed: Liberty, In God We Trust, 1991 and 1995.
