Obverse Description:
Released on July 16, 1999, this coin commemorates the 125th anniversary of the establishment of Yellowstone National Park. President Ulysses S. Grant signed the law establishing Yellowstone Park in 1872. The design on the coin is an image of spouting geyser with the park's tree-lined landscape in the background. The coin is inscribed: Yellowstone, In God We Trust, Liberty, and 1999.
