Obverse Description:
Released on February 15, 1991, this commemorative coin was released in honor of the 50th Anniversary of Mount Rushmore. The design on the coin features the American Eagle in flight over Mount Rushmore. It was unveiled at a ceremony held in Ford's Theatre, in South Dakota. The coin is inscribed: Liberty, 1991, In God We Trust, and 6 stars on the right edge of the coin.
