Phebe Hemphill

Medallic Sculptor
United States Mint

Phebe Hemphill is a graduate of the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts and studied for three years with sculptor EvAngelos Frudakis in Philadelphia. In 1987, she joined the sculpture department at the Franklin Mint, and for the next 15 years, worked on many projects for the porcelain and medallic departments.

As a freelance sculptor, Hemphill has displayed her creative talents while working with various companies that produce figurines, medallions, dolls, toys and garden ornaments.
