Acadia
Acadia Adaptations
Overview
Starting with the Acadia National Park quarter, the students will visit the Acadia National Park website to learn more about the park’s plants and animals and how they have adapted to the changing habitats in intertidal zones. Using the “Intertidal Zone Concept Map,” the students will research and diagram at least three plants or animals that are found in the zone and map the ways they have adapted.
