Over the past month, new content has been added to the United States Mint H.I.P. Pocket Change Web site.  To help you learn about "What's New For You," links to this new content are listed below.

Making Cents—It's here! ... the fall issue of this "quarterly" online newsletter.  Read it to learn what's new on the site, like the expansion of the teachers Library and the commermoration in coin of the Old Mint at San Francisco.  Then put this news to use with the crosword puzzle at the end of the issue.

October Coin of the Month—This month, Flip reminds us of a speech from our nation's fifth president.  His speech contained what became the basis of our foreign policy for many years after.and the subject of a cool commemorative coin!

Happy Halloween—Visit this page for some haunting Halloween lore about the chilling part coins have played in the world of the gruesome.  Then take the Costume Quiz to help the H.I.P. Pocket Change Pals get dressed up for Halloween.

Columbus Day—Land ho!  Come aboard and celebrate the landing of Christopher Columbus in the New World.  Learn how the United States Mint took part in the World's Columbian Exposition in 1893.  On this page, you can also see American coins that have honored Columbus and explorers like him.
