Coin of the Month
For May's Coin of the Month, Inspector Collector introduces you to the Hot Springs National Park quarter.
As the oldest national site in the United States, Hot Springs is rich in history. The Inspector reports some of this history, as provided by the National Parks Service on its website.

New Lesson Plans
The America the Beautiful Quarters™ Program lesson plans are ready for you to use in your classroom! The new interactive format is easier to read and customize for students. The plans also integrate technology into the core curriculum, which supports national education technology standards--models for 21st century learning.
The new lesson plans for the America the Beautiful Quarters are designed for grades K through 12 and are available online for free!
America the Beautiful Quarters™ Program
In 2010, the United States Mint will begin to issue 56 circulating quarter-dollar coins (five each year). The quarters' designs will feature one national park or other national site from each state, territory, and the District of Columbia as part of the United States Mint America the Beautiful Quarters™ Program.
