Geological Lesson Plans

Celebrate the release of the Arches National Park quarter on June 6 with our America the Beautiful Quarters lesson plans.

Choose from lessons in which students measure arches using the circumference of a circle and scale drawings of geometric figures, or learn how patterns of erosion affect the landscape.

Flag Day

Flag Day is June 14, so why not use the Oh Say! What a Big Flag! lesson plan to help your students learn more about our nation's flag.

Helen Keller's Birthday

Helen Keller was born June 27, 1880.  Help your students learn more about this famous woman, different methods of communication, and the five senses with the 2003 Alabama quarter lesson plans
