Celebrate Independence Day!— Check out this page to learn more about the Declaration of Independence. This page includes brief informational text about the ratification of the Declaration and an interactive activity based on fun facts about some of its signers. Help your students learn that there is more to the 4th of July than fireworks!
July Coin of the Month— Join Peter as he proudly presents the Idaho quarter. This quarter features one of Pete's cousins, the peregrine falcon. The falcon was the first bird protected under the endangered Species Act in 1969. The quarter also features the state motto "Esto Perpetua", which means "May it be forever".
