Coin of the Month

For October's Coin of the Month, Bill introducesImage shows the back of the Grand Canyon quarter us to the Grand Canyon National Park quarter. It is the fourth quarter to be released in the America the Beautiful Quarters® Program. You can find out more about the Grand Canyon National Park quarter on the October Coin of the Month page.

New Game

Have you checked out the new America the Beautiful Quarters game? Test your knowledge about the location of sites featured on the 2010 quarters!

K-12 Lesson Plans

The America the Beautiful Quarters® Program lesson plans are free and ready for you to use in your classroom! The new interactive format uses tabs to make them easier to read and customize for your students. The plans, which apply to individual grades from Kindergarten through 12, also integrate national education technology standards - models for 21st century learning.

Tools for Quarter Debuts

New on the site this month: the Grand Canyon National Park Quarter Day in the Classroom! This special page of related activities and information will help you make the occasion of the release of this quarter (and subsequent quarters in the program) memorable for your students!
