Coin of the Month

Join Goldie as she learns about 2011 Native American $1 Cointhe 2011 Native American $1 Coin.  Check out the February Coin of the Month page to learn more about the Treaty of 1621, and the people who helped make this historic event happen.

Black History Month

Inspector Collector has a collection of Congressional gold medals awarded to famous African-Americans.  As February is Black History Month, please take some time to learn about the important historical figures featured in Medal Mania.

New Lesson Plans

With the new year, we've launched brand new America the Beautiful Quarters® Program lesson plans based on the 2011 coin designs!  The new lesson plans for the America the Beautiful Quarters are designed for grades K through 12 and are available online for free!

Bulletin Board Kits

Need to liven up your classroom in the new year?  Send us an email to receive a free bulletin board kit highlighting the first 5 quarters released in the America the Beautiful Quarters® series, which kicked off in 2010.  To receive your kit, simply email TeachersNetwork@usmint.treas.gov and include Bulletin Board Kit in the subject line.
