Lewis & Clark Birthdays
Did you know that both Meriwether Lewis and William Clark had birthdays in August? Clark was born on August 1, 1770, and Lewis on August 18, 1774.
Learn more about these famous explorers in the Time Machine. Once you’re back in 1805, you can gather information, play related games, and link to other Lewis and Clark features, like the Westward Journey Nickel Series Lesson Plans.
Try "CoinDoku"
Are you and your students ready for a mathematical coin challenge? Try the United States Mint’s version of the popular game Sudoku called "Coin-Doku."
This game uses dollar coins instead of numbers, has hints to help you along the way, and is just as enjoyable as the numbered version.
