Annual United States Mint Uncirculated Coin Set® Goes on Sale May 13

WASHINGTON - The 2014 United States Mint Uncirculated Coin Set (product code U14) will be available for purchase starting May 13 at noon Eastern Daylight Time (EDT).

Orders will be accepted at http://www.usmint.gov/catalog and at 1-800-USA-MINT (872-6468), while hearing- and speech-impaired customers with TTY equipment may order at 1-888-321-MINT.  A fee of $4.95 will be added to all domestic orders for shipping and handling.  The set is priced at $27.95.

The 2014 set includes two folders, containing 14 coins each, from the United States Mint facilities in Denver and Philadelphia.  Each folder has the following coins:

  • four Presidential $1 Coins honoring Warren G. Harding, Calvin Coolidge, Herbert Hoover, and Franklin D. Roosevelt;
  • five America the Beautiful Quarters® Program coins honoring Great Smoky Mountains National Park (Tenn.), Shenandoah National Park (Va.), Arches National Park (Utah), Great Sand Dunes National Park (Colo.), and Everglades National Park (Fla.);
  • one Native American $1 Coin;
  • one Kennedy half-dollar coin;
  • one Roosevelt dime coin;
  • one Jefferson 5-cent coin (nickel); and,
  • one Lincoln one-cent coin (penny).

Both folders in the United States Mint Uncirculated Coin Set display an image of a United States flag on the front.  The folder containing the coins from the United States Mint at Philadelphia is accented in blue, and the folder containing the coins from the United States Mint at Denver is accented in red.  A Certificate of Authenticity is printed on the packaging.

The United States Mint Uncirculated Coin Set also is available for purchase through the bureau's Online Subscription Program.  This year, the bureau is offering a 10-percent discount on subscription orders for this product, reducing the subscription-only price to $25.15.  The cut-off date to order the 2014 set at subscription prices is May 7, 2014.  For additional information about this convenient ordering method, please visit http://www.usmint.gov/catalog
