April 2008 Highlights.
1. 2008 American Eagle Gold Uncirculated Coins Now Available!

This year's version of the American Eagle Gold Uncirculated Coins went on sale April 1st, but there's no fool's gold in them! These 22-karat gold coins are available in four sizes (one ounce, half-ounce, quarter-ounce and tenth-ounce), as well as in a four-coin set. 2. United States Mint Presidential $1 Coin Historical Signature Series – Inaugural Set Released April 8, 2008

The George Washington issue of this historical series went on sale this month and will be followed by John Adams, Thomas Jefferson and James Madison later this year. These sets feature the proof version of the Presidential $1 Coin and a Presidential intaglio print from the Bureau of Engraving and Printing. The product is presented in a blue textured, leather-like folder which opens to reveal the intaglio print and the official Presidential signature. A Certificate of Authenticity accompanies each United States Mint Historical Signature Set. Don't miss out on starting your collection!


3. April's Coin of the Month

The New Mexico quarter shows the state outline and a Zia Sun symbol. This quarter, which began circulating in April, is also April's Coin of the Month.
