The Bald Eagle’s proud bearing has adorned the Great Seal of the United States since 1782, and now it can be found in this exciting set of products. The 2008 United States Mint 50 State Quarters Proof Set™ includes all five new quarters issued in 2008 through the 50 State Quarters® Program. This tenth and final set honors the last five states to be admitted into the Union. It features Oklahoma’s “Scissortail Flycatcher,” New Mexico’s “Land of Enchantment,” Arizona’s “Grand Canyon State,” Alaska’s “The Great Land,” and Hawaii’s “King Kamehameha I.”


4. New Quarters Join The Games

Every year, the H.I.P. Pocket Change™ games that feature the quarters from the 50 State Quarters® Program are updated with images and stories of new designs, and this year is no exception. Cents of Color is the first of the games to offer the new 2008 designs for coloring online.

PuzzleMint will soon follow with its virtual jigsaw versions of these new quarters. Quarter Explorer, of course, will have the new coins, new state trivia questions and new postcards to enjoy.
