Silver Eagle, Bags and Rolls Debut in March

Every year, March brings the start of spring – an exciting time for new beginnings. At the United States Mint, this March has brought some perennial favorites back to life with the latest offerings in some of our most popular product lines:

  • On March 20th, bags and rolls of the 2007 Golden Dollar featuring Sacagawea went on sale. The Golden Dollar is available in 25-coin rolls and 250-coin bags, each from either the United States Mint at Philadelphia or the United States Mint at Denver.
  • On March 27th, the 2007 American Eagle Silver Proof Coin went on sale. One of our most popular collectibles, this beautiful proof coin features Adolph A. Weinman’s full-length figure of Liberty in full stride on its obverse.
  • And on March 30th, bags and rolls of the 2007 Kennedy half-dollar will go on sale. The 2007 Kennedy half-dollar will be available in either a two-roll set or a 200-coin bag.
2. George Washington Folio – A Great Addition to Your Collection

Surely you've seen the new George Washington $1 Coin by now, and maybe you've bought a bag or roll of the coins for your collection. But did you know that you can buy a set of historical document reproductions from the life of America's first President? In partnership with the National Archives and Records Administration, we are pleased to offer the George Washington Folio. These reproductions of six historic documents highlight important milestones in George Washington's life and the history of the United States Mint, which was instituted during his administration.

3. Breaking News: RSS Now Available

4. Keys to Jamestown

This year is the 400th anniversary of the founding of Jamestown, former capital of Virginia and first permanent English settlement in the New World. For March's Coin of the Month, learn more about one of the two coins that make up the Jamestown 400th Anniversary Commemorative Coin Program: the $5 gold coin. You'll better understand the images on this coin and appreciate the part the Jamestown settlers played in making our country what it is today.
