2. 2008 Alaska Official First Day Coin Cover Now Available!

The 2008 Alaska Official First Day Coin Cover is the 49th in the series. This limited-edition cover – only 35,000 will be produced – features two Alaska quarters from the first day of mintage, July 14, 2008. The two coins, one each from the United States Mint at Philadelphia and Denver, are placed on a handsome display card with one of the four U.S. 42-cent Flags 24/7 stamps. Click here to order!

3. Feed Your Need for Information

The United States Mint now offers four RSS feeds. RSS, which is an acronym for Really Simple Syndication, is an easy way to get the news you want whenever it is updated, even if you are not logged onto www.usmint.gov. Currently, the United States Mint provides RSS feeds for press releases, product information and Presidential $1 Coin news. 4. Hot Off the Web: Making Cents

The new issue of Making Cents provides kids with the hot news for the fall. It links to special holiday pages like the Halloween and the Veterans Day pages for information and activities that can help make these holidays more meaningful.
