Adrian Lesesne is the Police Inspector for the DC Field Unit. Inspector Lesesne is Second in Command of the DC field Unit and is responsible for the daily operations. Key responsibilities are the management of two 12-hour shifts, which is comprised by the Shift Commander “Lieutenant,” two Sergeants, and Police Patrol Officers responsible for the safety of Mint employees, the Mint facility, and the safe movement of precious metals.
Inspector Lesesne first joined the Mint Police force in 2008 as a Lieutenant. Prior to joining the Mint, Inspector Lesesne was the Acting Unit Commander for the Pentagon Police Directorate Emergency Response Team (ERT). As the Acting ERT Unit Commander, responsibilities included the oversight of the Quartermaster, Special Weapons and Munitions, CQB, Active Shooter, and Civil Disturbance programs. Inspector Lesesne duties were to instruct and enhance the tactical operator’s skill level within the section to provide a tactical response to a Barricaded Person and/or Hostage situation on the Pentagon Reservation or in the National Capital Region with concurrent and/or exclusive jurisdictions.
Inspector Lesesne has 25 plus years of Law Enforcement Experience.
