Introduced in 1986, the popular and now-iconic United States Mint American Eagle Silver Proof Coins are collector versions of the official American Eagle Silver Bullion Coins.

The United States Mint Congratulations Set features an American Eagle Silver Proof Coin bearing the “W” mint mark of the West Point Mint. It’s the perfect gift for the special people in your life for milestone achievements and anniversaries—a meaningful and unique gift they will treasure for years to come. The coin is encapsulated in the folder so both the obverse and reverse are visible.

The coin is encapsulated and placed in a new stylish clamshell and elegant black presentation box. The box is adorned with the official United States Mint seal. An outer sleeve incorporates an image of a blue bow and ribbon with the words “Congratulations Set.” The back of the outer sleeve includes the words “To” and “From” with space to write a brief personal message. A certificate of authenticity with the coin’s specifications and a space to write a brief message accompanies the set.

The obverse (heads) design features the iconic depiction of Adolph A. Weinman’s full- length figure of Liberty in full stride, enveloped in folds of the flag, with her right hand extended and branches of laurel and oak in her left.

The coin’s reverse (tails) design features an eagle as it approaches a landing, carrying an oak branch, as if to add it to a nest. Inscriptions are “UNITED STATES OF AMERICA,”E PLURIBUS UNUM,” “1 OZ. FINE SILVER,” and “ONE DOLLAR.”
