August Coin of the Month: Join Nero as he learns more about the Andrew Jackson Presidential $1 Coin. Unlike presidents before him, Jackson did not come from a well-to-do family or have a strong formal education. And tha's part of what made him so popular with voters You can also go to The Coins Are Coming to learn more about the Presidential $1 coin that features Jackson and his accomplishments.
Presidential $1 Coin Program Lesson Plans: Download free lesson plans and access resource materials related to the Presidential $1 Coins. You can also have your students see all four of the Presidential $1 coins for 2008 and learn more about each of the Presidents they commemorate under The Coins Are Coming. A separate page tells all about the Statue of Liberty, featured on the coi's reverse.
