During the past month, new information and activities have been added to the United States Mint H.I.P. Pocket Change™ Web site.  To help you learn "What's New for You," we've listed and linked these features below.

Coin of the Month

This month Peter explores the Gettysburg Image shows the Gettysburg National Military Park Quarter National Military Park quarter, which is January's Coin of the Month.  The Gettysburg quarter is the sixth quarter released in the America the Beautiful Quarters® Program and first of the 2011 quarters.  Visit the January Coin of the Month page to learn more about this historic battle.

New Web Site Design

The United States Mint web site has a new design.  Simply click on the tab labeled "Education" to find our educational resources.

Quarter Lesson Plans

The America the Beautiful Quarters® Program lesson plans are free and ready for you to use in your classroom!

The plans also integrate technology into the core curriculum, which supports national education technology standards—models for 21st century learning.

The new lesson plans for the America the Beautiful Quarters are designed for grades K through 12 and are available online for free!
