The Series 2006 $5 note,  introduced into circulation on March 13, 2008, was the fourth denomination to be redesigned in the “New Color of Money” series. Each of the colorful Series 2006 $5 notes offered in this collection was one of the first 3,500 redesigned “New Color of Money” notes issued and features the lowest serial number available. Each note is protected by a clear, acid-free sleeve in an attractive folder representative of the corresponding Federal Reserve district.
