Background

In 2013, the U.S. Mint honored five United States Army 5-star generals by minting three commemorative coins in the 5-Star Generals Commemorative Coin Program.

Characteristics

The obverse features portraits of Generals Henry "Hap" Arnold and Omar N. Bradley with the 5-star insignia above their heads. The reverse features the heraldic crest of Fort Leavenworth.
