Washington, DC, August 30, 2001 –The United States Mint today announced changes to the Mint’s customer service phone numbers and mailing address information.
As always, customers within the United States may place orders by calling 1–800–USA–MINT (872–6468). This toll–free number will also replace the old Customer Care Center number (202–283–COIN) that was used for general questions concerning the U.S. Mint, coins and numismatic products.
In addition, the Mint has added two new telephone numbers. The hearing impaired can now contact the Mint toll–free by dialing TTY: 1–888–321–MINT (6468); International customers may now call the U.S. Mint at +1–202–898–MINT (6468).
