The U.S. Mint is pleased to announce that the technical problems affecting its Online Catalog have been resolved, and the catalog is again accepting orders.
In addition, the U.S. Mint would like its customers to know that the Kentucky Bags and Rolls are again available for purchase. In response to our customers, we are no longer limiting the sale period of the 50 State Quarters Program to 72 hours. The Quarter Bags and Rolls will now be available during the 10–week release period for each quarter.
“Customers have been asking us to expand the order period for these quarters” said Mint Director Henrietta Holsman Fore. “This seems a good time to begin this new open–order policy.”
Customers can continue purchasing the Kentucky quarter bags and rolls three ways. First, they can save shipping and handling charges by ordering online using the Mint’s secure website at http://www.usmint.gov/ . Second, they may call 1–800–USA–MINT (872–6468). Third, they may download a fax order form from the website and fax it to (301) 918–2039. A shipping and handling fee of $3.95 per order will be added to all telephone and fax orders for these products. Hearing and speech–impaired customers may order by calling 1–888–321–MINT (6468). Please allow approximately 2–3 weeks for delivery.
