WASHINGTON — The United States Mint is moving its products to a new fulfillment center and will use the opportunity to clear its shelves and offer several coins, coin sets, bags and rolls for the last time to customers. Additionally, the United States Mint is discontinuing several products that will be offered for the last time. Sales of these products begin Saturday, November 15, 2008, at 12:01 a.m. (ET). Many of these products will never be available again from the United States Mint. The sale will end at 5 p.m. (ET) on December 19, 2008.
The United States Mint is transferring its contractor–operated call center and fulfillment facility from Memphis, TN, and Plano, TX to Plainfield, IN, near Indianapolis. The “Last Chance Sale” is intended to clear as much old inventory as possible from the existing system to facilitate the transfer.
The transition in early January is expected to be seamless, and customers should encounter no service problems. Ordering information via the United States Mint Web site, telephone and by mail will remain the same:

The “Last Chance Sale” will be a limited–time, first come, first serve offer, available online and by phone. There will be no household order limit. No damaged products will be sold. There will be a seven–day return policy from the date of receipt if the product is delivered to the customer damaged. No returns will be accepted unless a product is damaged in shipment. If a return is made because the product is damaged, the United States Mint cannot guarantee a replacement, and a customer’s payment will be refunded.
The sale of these products will increase previously stated “final” sales figures. For products with a maximum mintage or product limit, the United States Mint will not sell coins or products that exceed the established limit.
