WASHINGTON — Collectors of Kennedy half–dollars may begin placing their orders for bags and rolls filled with 2012 coins beginning at noon Eastern Time (ET) on May 15. The bags are priced at $139.95 each, and the two–roll sets are priced at $32.95 each.
The 200–coin bags contain equal quantities of circulating quality 2012 Kennedy half–dollars from the United States Mint facilities at Denver and Philadelphia. Each bag is marked with a “P” and “D.” representing both mints of origin, and “$100,” the face value of its contents.
The two–roll sets — one each from the United States Mint facilities at Denver and Philadelphia — contain 20 circulating quality coins per roll. Each coin roll is packaged in a distinctive United States Mint paper coin wrap, which displays a “P” or “D” and “$10,” its face value.
Customers have the option of ordering via the United States Mint’s secure Web site at http://www.usmint.gov/catalog or calling 1–800–USA–MINT (872–6468). Hearing– and speech–impaired customers may order by calling 1–888–321–MINT (6468). A fee of $4.95 will be added to all domestic orders.
