WASHINGTON — The United States Mint will begin accepting orders for the William McKinley $1 Coin Cover at noon Eastern Time (ET) on March 19, 2013. The limited–edition coin cover includes two circulating quality 2013 William McKinley Presidential $1 Coins from the first day of minting at the United States Mint– December 11, 2012, for the United States Mint at Philadelphia and October 3, 2012, for the United States Mint at Denver. The coins are mounted on a display card with a U.S. Four Flags (Forever®) postage stamp.
The William McKinley $1 Coin Cover is priced at $19.95. Collectors may place their orders at the United States Mint’s Web site, http://www.usmint.gov/catalog, and at 1–800–USA–MINT (872–6468). Hearing– and speech–impaired customers with TTY equipment may order at 1–888–321–MINT (6468). A shipping and handling fee of $4.95 will be added to all domestic orders.
