Sales Open for Theodore Roosevelt $1 Coin Cover on May 9

WASHINGTON — The United States Mint will open sales for the Theodore Roosevelt $1 Coin Cover on May 9, 2013, at noon Eastern Time (ET). The limited–edition coin cover includes two circulating quality coins honoring President Roosevelt from the first day of mintage at the United States Mint at Philadelphia (January 9, 2013) and United States Mint at Denver (February 5, 2013). The coins are mounted on a display card with a U.S. 46–cent "Patriotic Star" stamp.

The Theodore Roosevelt $1 Coin Cover is priced at $19.95. Orders will be accepted at the United States Mint's online catalog at http://www.usmint.gov/catalog and at 1–800–USA–MINT (872–6468). Hearing– and speech–impaired customers with TTY equipment may order at 1–888–321–MINT (6468). A $4.95 shipping and handling charge will be added to all domestic orders.
