WASHINGTON, DC — The United States Mint (Mint) and the Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) will share a booth, #1910, at the American Numismatic Association's (ANA) World's Fair of Money August 11–15, 2015, at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, Illinois.
As the Nation's producers of currency and coins, BEP and the Mint have made history by connecting Americans through coins and currency. The bureaus are highlighting their distinguished histories, product excellence, and dedicated employees.
The BEP is showcasing its Billion Dollar Exhibit, which features more than $1 billion worth of rare antique currency, including sheets of $100,000 currency notes, Treasury Bonds, and Gold and Silver Certificates.
The BEP is also showcasing and offering other unique currency–related products, including uncut sheets of currency ranging in subject size and denomination. The Mint has planned several outreach activities for the show. On opening day of the Fair, Principal Director Rhett Jeppson will host a meet and greet and sign autographs from 11 a.m.–12 p.m. and from 3–4 p.m. Wednesday, August 12, Acting Associate Director of Sales and Marketing Jon Cameron will meet with bulk dealers in room #44 from 11 a.m.–12 p.m.
The Mint will offer these and other products for sale.
With the purchase of $75 or more, the Mint will offer a complimentary reusable bag with images of former President and First Lady Jackie Kennedy. There is a one bag limit per customer per $75 order.
