What is RSS?

RSS is an easy way to follow updates on our website without needing to check our site for changes. RSS is short for “Really Simple Syndication.”

Our RSS feeds provide a list of recent website updates in a format that can be read in your web browser, or in a program or app designed to read RSS feeds. These programs and apps are called “news readers” or “RSS aggregators.”

The Chrome browser does not support a formatted view of RSS feeds. You will need to download a feed reader extension from the Chrome store.

How can I receive RSS feeds from the United States Mint?

To quickly view our updates, just click the feed you wish to view from the list at the top of this page.

To “subscribe” to a feed in a news reader or RSS aggregator, so that you can automatically receive updates, follow the directions that came with the program. In many cases, you can subscribe by dragging the RSS icon into the program. Other programs may require you to open the feed in your web browser, copy its URL (web address) and then paste the URL into the program.
