Household Order Limit The United States Mint imposes household order limits on our products to ensure that we provide fair purchase opportunities to the broadest audience possible. Household order limits for our products are typically lifted 24 hours after they go on sale. As we monitor our products, limits may be implemented, adjusted, or removed at our discretion.
The obverse (heads) depicts a portrait of Zachary Taylor with the inscriptions “ZACHARY TAYLOR,” “PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES,” and “1849.” The reverse (tails) features the inscription “PEACE AND FRIENDSHIP,” symbolized by two hands clasped in token of amity. On the cuff of the left wrist are three stripes and buttons; the other wrist is bare. Above the hands, the pipe of peace and tomahawk are crossed over each other.
