Crow Nation Code Talkers Bronze Medal
Mintage Limit is the total number of a coin manufactured across all products. (For example, a coin may be available in rolls and in our annual sets).
Product Limit is the number of a coin made available in the individual product.
Household Order Limit In cases where we have limited-mintage products (e.g., legislatively mandated or Mint established production or mintage limits), the United States Mint may impose order or household order limits. Order limits help us ensure that we provide fair purchase opportunities to the broadest audience possible. As we monitor our products, limits may be implemented, adjusted, or removed at our discretion.
Code Talkers medals tell WW II history. The Crow Nation Code Talkers Bronze Medal is a miniature bronze replica of the Congressional Gold Medal awarded to Crow Nation Code Talkers in recognition of their dedication and valor.
The Code Talkers Recognition Act of 2008 authorized the United States Mint to strike and issue medals to provide the recognition deserved by Native American Code Talkers for their dedication and valor in World War I and WW II. The heroic and dramatic contributions of Native American Code Talkers were instrumental in driving back Axis forces and securing Allied victories.
The obverse design depicts a variation of the Army Air Corps wings and is inscribed “CROW CODE TALKERS.”
The reverse design features the Crow Nation Seal. Inscriptions are “WORLD WAR II” and “ACT OF CONGRESS 2008.”
