Kathryn ‘Kat’ Hudson is an illustrator and character designer currently working in television animation.
Born in the Mississippi delta, Kathryn went on to achieve her B.A. from Belhaven University in Jackson, Mississippi where she graduated with honors. She then went on to receive her master’s in illustration from Savannah College of Art and Design in 2007.
Kathryn and her husband moved to Atlanta, Georgia in 2013 where she landed a job as a character designer for Floyd County Productions, working on the show Archer among other projects.
In 2017 the couple relocated to Los Angeles, California where they currently reside. Kathryn has worked for several animation companies and design firms, including Warner Brothers Animation, Disney Television Animation, Marvel Entertainment, Nickelodeon, DreamWorks Animation, Sideshow Collectibles, and more.
Kathryn loves working with clients to create unique designs and characters. Her personal work is often figural and fantastical. She is excited to do more projects involving public works.
