Kristine Campbell was raised in an Irish household where there was never a shortage of storytellers. From an early age, she found her own way of telling stories through images.
While studying Fine Art at the University of Michigan, she developed an interest in technology. She became proficient in computer programming and application design, eventually creating websites and digital tools for individuals and arts organizations.
Throughout her career, she has continued to draw and paint using traditional methods while exploring the possibilities between traditional and digital processes. This blending of the two has become an ongoing part of her artistic practice.
Kristine has exhibited nationally and internationally and was a selected artist for the Art in Embassies program. Her images have also graced book covers and been used as book illustrations. Her work remains rooted in what began with those early family stories and the continuing desire to tell a story through an image.
