Artistic Infusion Program Designer
Richard Scott is a contemporary classical artist and writer working in Connecticut.
Scott holds an M.F.A. from the New York Academy of Art. He worked as a painter for Jeff Koons in NYC and as a studio assistant to Odd Nerdrum in Norway and Paris.
His paintings were exhibited across Europe and the United States, notably at the National Arts Club in New York City, Le Grand Palais in Paris, Palazzo Cini in Venice, the Museum of New Art in Detroit and the European Museum of Modern Art in Barcelona (MEAM). His work is in private and museum collections, including those of former British Arts Minister Alan Howarth, Prince Morad El Hattab and the Museum of Contemporary Art in Sicily.
Scott was published extensively, most notably in American Arts Quarterly, Hi Fructose, The New York Times, Radio France International and The Huffington Post.
Scott has won multiple awards, such as selection as one of “25 Artists of Tomorrow” by American Artist Magazine, and winner of the Saatchi Showdown hosted by Saatchi Gallery.
