Background

In 2013, the U.S. Mint honored five United States Army 5-star generals by minting three commemorative coins in the 5-Star Generals Commemorative Coin Program.

Characteristics

The obverse features Generals George C. Marshall and Dwight D. Eisenhower against a striped background with the 5-star insignia above their heads. The reverse features the Leavenworth Lamp with the heraldic crest of Fort Leavenworth on its side.
