The Lexington-Concord Sesquicentennial Half Dollar was released in 1925 to commemorate the 150th anniversary of the Battle of Lexington and Concord.
The United States Lexington-Concord Sesquicentennial Commission delegated distribution to the Lexington Trust Company and the Concord National Bank. The coins were sold by banks, mostly in the New England area.
The obverse design features a Minute Man.
The reverse features the old belfry at Lexington.
