The Little Rock Nine Bronze Medal is a bronze duplicate of the Congressional Gold Medal honoring the selfless heroism of nine students during the desegregation of Little Rock Central High School. These students risked their lives to integrate Central High School in Little Rock, Arkansas, and subsequently the nation.
The obverse features the students being escorted up the steps of Little Rock Central High School by U.S. soldiers.
The reverse features the names of each of the Little Rock Nine as well as the words “COURAGE BRAVERY JUSTICE OPPORTUNITY.”
