WASHINGTON — Beginning at noon Eastern Time (ET) on November 5, the United States Mint will begin accepting orders for America the Beautiful Quarters Program products honoring Alaska’s Denali National Park and Preserve. The coins’ reverse (tails side) design features a Dall sheep with Mount McKinley rising in the background, with the inscriptions DENALI, ALASKA, 2012 and E PLURIBUS UNUM. This is the 15th coin issued through the bureau’s America the Beautiful Quarters Program and America the Beautiful Five–Ounce Silver Uncirculated Coin Program.

“P” and “D” Mint Mark Product Options
Product options include 100–coin bags priced at $34.95 each and two–roll sets (40 coins per roll) priced at $32.95 each, containing circulating quality coins that were struck at the United States Mint facilities at Denver and Philadelphia. The two–roll set includes one roll of coins from each facility.

“S” Mint Mark Product Options

The special numismatic wrapping for the coin rolls displays the name “Denali National Park and Preserve”; the abbreviation “AK” for Alaska; “$10,” the face value of its contents; and “P,” “D” or “S” for the mint of origin. Each canvas bag has a tag with “Denali National Park and Preserve,” “AK,” and “P,” “D” or “S.”

America the Beautiful Five–Ounce Silver Uncirculated Coin
This product is the collector version of the coin issued through the America the Beautiful Silver Bullion Coin™ Program. Struck in .999 fine silver, these three–inch, five–ounce coins display the “P” mint mark indicating production at the United States Mint at Philadelphia. To protect the uncirculated quality finish, each coin is enclosed in a capsule and an attractive presentation case. A Certificate of Authenticity is also included. The America the Beautiful Five–Ounce Silver Uncirculated Coins are currently priced at $229.95; however, as with all products sold by the United States Mint containing precious metals, the price is subject to change.
