WASHINGTON — The United States Mint opened sales for product options featuring circulating quality quarters honoring Great Smoky Mountains National Park Jan. 27 at noon Eastern Time (ET).
Orders are being accepted at http://www.usmint.gov/catalog, and at 1–800–USA–MINT (872–6468). Hearing– and speech–impaired customers with TTY equipment may order at 1–888–321–MINT. A fee of $4.95 will be added to all domestic orders for shipping and handling.
Product options and their prices are as follows:
|SB4||Two–Roll Set (40 coins per roll)||“P” and “D”||$32.95|
|SB1, SB2, SB3||100–Coin Bag||“P,” “D.” or “S”||$34.95|
|SB5||Single Roll (40 coins)||“S”||$18.95|
|SB6||Three–Roll Set||“P,” “D.” and “S”||$46.95|
The coins in the bags and rolls were struck on the main production floors of the United States Mint’s facilities at Denver, Philadelphia, and San Francisco, while the three–roll set contains coins from all three facilities. Unlike the “P” and “D” mint mark quarters, those with the “S” mint mark will not be released into circulation.
The special numismatic wrapping for the coin rolls displays the name “Great Smoky Mountains National Park”; the abbreviation “TN” for Tennessee; “$10,” the face value of its contents; and “P,” “D.” or “S” for the mint of origin. The canvas bags have a tag with “Great Smoky Mountains National Park,” “TN,” and “P,” “D.” or “S.”
Note: To ensure that all members of the public have fair and equal access to United States Mint products, orders placed prior to the official on–sale date and time Jan. 27, 2014, at noon ET, shall not be deemed accepted by the United States Mint and will not be honored.
