2016 America the Beautiful Quarters Three-Coin Set™ — Cumberland Gap National Historical Park Available on May 2

WASHINGTON – The United States Mint will open sales for the 2016 America the Beautiful Quarters Three-Coin SetTM – Cumberland Gap National Historical Park (product code 16AE) on May 2 at noon Eastern Time (ET).

This set is priced at $9.95 and contains two uncirculated Cumberland Gap National Historical Park quarters–one each from the United States Mint facilities at Philadelphia and Denver–and one proof coin from the United States Mint at San Francisco.  The Cumberland Gap National Historical Park quarter reverse (tails) design features a frontiersman gazing across the mountains to the West.  Inscriptions are “CUMBERLAND GAP,” “FIRST DOORWAY TO THE WEST,” “KENTUCKY,” “2016”, and “E PLURIBUS UNUM.”  The coins are held in a durable plastic card with an image of the site.  A Certificate of Authenticity is printed on the back of the card.
