The Yankton Sioux Tribe Code Talkers Bronze Medal is a beautiful medal commemorating the Code Talkers’ important contributions to America.
This medal is a bronze duplicate of the Congressional Gold Medal awarded to Yankton Sioux Tribe Code Talkers at a ceremony at the US Capitol Building on November 20, 2013, in recognition of their dedication and valor.
The obverse design features two Code Talkers with the inscriptions “YANKTON SIOUX” and “CODE TALKERS.”
The reverse design features a variation of the buffalo skull painted in honor of Yankton Sioux Tribe veterans. It is inscribed with “WORLD WAR I.”
