Laurie Johnson assumed the position of Deputy Superintendent in November 2017 at the Denver Mint. She started her Federal career in 1976, began working in Human Resources in 1982, and joined the United States Mint in Denver in 2007. In 2014, she started a detail opportunity to explore the Manufacturing side of the house. While in the position of Senior Staff Officer, her strong interpersonal skills, exceptional operational skills, and her strong commitment to the mission of the Mint made her an excellent candidate for the Deputy Superintendent position.
Laurie is a California native but has lived in Denver, Colorado for over 20 years and now calls Denver home.
