Phil Skinner is currently the Acting Superintendent of the San Francisco Mint and brings over 35 years of manufacturing experience to his current position where he is focused on safety, process improvement and cost reductions.
As the previous Acting Deputy Superintendent at the Denver Mint, he has been involved in all aspects of coin manufacturing contributing to process efficiency related to coinage and other Mint-related operations.
He has held various diverse and notable positions across vast industries, including numismatics, medical device, food industry and aerospace.
Raised in Colorado, he holds a B.S. from the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill and has an MBA from Boston University. Phil and his wife have three sons, two grandkids and is an avid cook and rabid Denver Broncos fan.
