Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO)

Through the Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) Program, the Mint reflects the rich diversity of the nation and provides a full and fair opportunity for all employees, applicants and customers, regardless of race, color, religion, national origin, sex (to include pregnancy, sexual orientation, and gender identity), age, disability, or genetic information.

The EEO Program is administered by the Office of Equal Employment Opportunity (OEEO), located under the Office of the Director. The OEEO is responsible for providing guidance to all Mint employees on the implementation of new initiatives as well as enforcing the statutory regulations that govern Title VI and Title VII. Responsibilities include EEO counseling and discrimination complaint processing, disability program management to include reasonable accommodations, and prevention of sexual harassment.
